WellNessie Academy
Service Description
Give your child the joy of learning with the WellNessie Academy—an immersive, story-rich, curriculum-aligned STEM adventure designed for curious young minds. Class A is our morning session, offering families a calm, structured start to the day. Students attend two live sessions each week, supported by a full week of optional learning activities in our Google Classroom. The Academy blends science, storytelling, hands-on challenges, creative thinking, and the magical world of WellNessie—all taught live by scientist Dr Marty Hughes. Dr Marty is a marine biologist and evolutionary ecologist with eight years of NSW teaching experience, has lectured pre-service teachers at university, and has delivered over 20 keynote presentations at elite organisations such as the Royal Society of Biology, the Association of Independent Schools, and the Alternative Schools Network. His approach focuses on STEM education, wellbeing, and whole-child, narrative-led learning. For younger learners, parents are warmly encouraged to join the sessions to help support, guide, and deepen the learning experience.

Cancellation Policy
Deposit Policy A $250 deposit is required to secure your child’s place. All deposits are non-refundable. Full Payment Refunds Families who have paid the full $500 course fee may request a partial refund. A 50% refund ($250) is available only if the enrolment is cancelled on or before 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027 onwards, no refunds are available on full payments. Transfers & Class Changes Families may request to move to another class time if space is available. Transfers are not guaranteed and depend on availability. Class Capacity Each class is capped at 20 families. Spots are secured only once payment is received. Program Cancellations (WellNessie Academy) If WellNessie Academy must cancel a class or full program for any reason, families will receive a full refund, including deposits.
